What I am working on: Final edit of Betrayal and Yearning, my fantasy romance. Cover art for Betrayal and Yearning and building web presence to promote Betrayal and Yearning. Also my historical romance not titled yet, but focused heavily on India, pirates, and adventure! Stay tuned.
What do I think about all this: It's exhausting. If you've ever wanted to write a novel, do it! It's been such an amazing experience. But, it's taken far longer than I'd anticipated as there was a serious learning curve. Follow writing forums on social media. That's helped almost more than anything. I've saved tidbits about editing, plotting, characterizations, and formatting, that I didn't know existed when I first started out.
As of right now, I'm mainly using my pseudo-lifestyle blog The Beating Hearth as my writer's website. My Eve Rousseau will get used more and more, but in the meantime, please click over to The Beating Hearth for all the comings and goings.
